A Bit About Me

I grew up in Frisco, just outside Dallas, with three brothers — including my twin, who I'm about as close to as two people can be. Basketball's been a constant my whole life, and I'm a die-hard football and basketball fan more broadly. I've also stayed closely involved in my church throughout college, and it's something I'm hoping to carry into wherever I land after graduation.

Leadership, to me, is rooted in service, adaptability, and intentional relationships. Through faith-based environments and mentoring roles, I have learned that effective leadership often means meeting people where they are and remaining flexible in order to guide, support, and challenge others well.

3 Summers May-August 2023-2025

Camp Eagle — Group Camp Counselor

Outdoor Leadership, Mentorship, Program Facilitation

Served as a Group Camp Counselor at Camp Eagle over three summers, supporting a faith-based mission focused on Christ-like character development through outdoor adventure, authentic relationships, and biblical truth. I led middle and high school students through physically and relationally challenging experiences designed to promote growth, resilience, and reflection.

  • Led and supervised groups through high-energy outdoor activities including rock climbing, hiking, and team-based challenge courses
  • Facilitated small group discussions and devotionals that encouraged spiritual growth, self-reflection, and meaningful conversation
  • Learned to treat flexibility as a leadership strategy by adapting plans, communication styles, and expectations to meet the needs of each group
  • Prioritized camper safety, inclusion, and engagement in dynamic and unpredictable environments
  • Developed strong leadership, conflict resolution, and mentoring skills within a faith-driven team setting
May 2023 - August 2026

First Baptist Church Bryan — College Ministry Leadership

Volunteer Leadership, Discipleship, Community Engagement

Served in multiple leadership roles within the student ministry at First Baptist Church Bryan, contributing to a welcoming, intentional, and Christ-centered environment. Across these roles, I focused on relational leadership, proactive engagement, and ensuring that individuals felt seen, supported, and connected within the church community.

  • Freshman Equip Leader (May 2024 - August 2026): Led a weekly Bible study for college freshmen focused on biblical discipleship and what it means to lead with integrity, humility, and faith. Facilitated discussions centered on spiritual growth, accountability, and applying biblical principles to leadership and everyday decision-making.
  • Experience Team Member (May 2023 - August 2026): Served as a welcoming and approachable point of contact for individuals entering the church, emphasizing hospitality and intentional connection. Worked to ensure that no one "fell through the cracks" by helping visitors connect with others before leaving the building.
  • Parking Lot Team Member (May 2025 - August 2026): Assisted with directing traffic and managing parking flow to ensure safe and efficient entry and exit for attendees. Prioritized safety, clear communication, and a positive first impression through a calm and friendly presence.

Through these roles, I strengthened my communication skills, situational awareness, and ability to lead through service while balancing structure with flexibility in dynamic, people-centered environments.

May 2025 - August 2026

Peer Discipleship & Mentorship

Small Group Leadership, One-on-One Mentorship, Accountability, Spiritual Growth

Engaged in intentional peer discipleship through both small group leadership and one-on-one mentorship, focusing on biblical character development, personal accountability, and spiritual growth. These experiences strengthened my ability to listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and lead through example rather than instruction alone.

  • Titus 10 Small Group Leader (May 2025 - August 2026): Led a small group of men through biweekly discussions centered on the book "The Titus 10", exploring biblical manhood and what it looks like to live with integrity, courage, and faith. Supplemented structured discussion with regular community days focused on building authentic relationships and brotherhood outside of a formal study setting.
  • One-on-One Discipleship: Mentored two college sophomores individually, meeting regularly for discussion, encouragement, and accountability centered on faith, academics, and personal growth.
  • Practiced relational leadership by prioritizing trust, consistency, and honest communication across both group and individual settings
  • Gained experience guiding others through challenges while continuing my own growth as a leader and mentor
